Hey Everyone!  Happy Monday!

For this blog post I want to share all of the photos from our extremely busy weekend!
We were given the opportunity to set up for a wedding in Covington, IN on Friday evening and a retirement party in Champaign, IL on Saturday morning.  Both events had great color schemes and themes!  I'm so glad to see that all our hard work and crazy weekend schedules has paid off!

Enjoy!

Hey guys!

So this weekend was a pretty slow week here in Champaign, IL. Yesterday I staged a wedding dress boutique with different themes in each room - Hollywood glam, Bling-tastic, Retro, and a Garden Theme.
I'm going to do a throwback for this post since there weren't really any good photos from the one set up I did today - it was sweet with olive colored chair sashes and black organza swirl overlays with a lot of paper lamps hanging from the ceiling!
Be on the lookout for next weekend's post about the possible trip to Indiana for a set-up!

xoxo

We do a lot of garden themed weddings - this one at
Par-a-dice Hotel & Casino in East Peoria, IL had a bit of a garden color scheme
mixed with a little bit of soft glam from the silver candelabra!

Good evening everybody!

This weekend, I graced everyone at the home office/warehouse with my presence for the first time since I left for school in August!  It was great to get back with the ole crew (and the new!) and share a few laughs in between setups.  This weekend Create A Scene, Inc. had five weddings across the Peoria area and one in Springfield.  We were busy to say the least!  Here are a few snapshots from today!

Hey Everyone!

Today I decided I would start a blog and share all of the neat things I get to do on my weekends away from college...

To start this off, I'll introduce myself.  My name is Sarah and I'm currently a student at the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL.  I'm studying biology and Spanish, so why do I have a job setting up events you might ask? Well, long story short I got the job through some friends...but hey isn't this type of job every girl's dream job?! I think so!

My goal is to share a little bit of my fun work all created by my two amazing bosses (Kristy and Sue) at Create A Scene, Inc. in Washington, IL in hopes that someday you will have that dream reception like all the lovely brides do that come through our showroom's doors.

Enjoy!

Just a favorite wedding setup from this past summer (2013).
Colors were grey, black, and light pink.
